BRAZIL - MEXICO – Visa Waiver Agreement in Place
The reciprocal visa-waiver agreement between Brazil and Mexico has been signed and has taken effect, from 16 May 2013.
Visa Waiver Activities

For Mexican nationals travelling to Brazil, this means a visa free period of up to 90 days, renewable for a further period of to 90 days (i.e. 180 days in total). For Brazilians travelling to Mexico, the visa exemption allows a stay of up to 180 days. Note that, typically, work may not be carried out on business or visitor status; however, in Mexico, non-remunerated activities for up to 180 days (i.e. where no salary or compensation is received in Mexico, and the assignee remains on home payroll) are permitted on visitor status.
