THAILAND - Medical Certificate Requirement Cancelled [Updated 14/10/2019]

‘’’[UPDATE]’’’ ‘’’Effective 9 October 2019, the medical certificate is no longer required for work permit applications submitted under special laws, including under the Board of Investment (BOI), Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand (IEAT) and the Petroleum Act.’’’ ‘’’The Employment Department cancelled a recent rule requiring a medical certificate for such applications, which took effect on 19 August 2019, due to complaints from foreign investors.’’’
